Avon Brewery: a traditional English pub in central Salisbury

No multicoloured vodka jellies. No music so loud you can’t hear yourself think. No pea purée, foie gras fondant or cauliflower coulis.

Instead, at Avon Brewery you always get a warm welcome, great food and a perfect place for a drink or pub meal with friends. It’s exactly what we think a traditional English city centre pub should be, only a two minute walk from the Market Square, nestled on the bank of the River Avon in Salisbury.

We are proud to serve locally sourced food that is prepared and cooked to order from 12.00 - 14.30 and 18.00 - 21.00, Monday to Saturday. We also serve a traditional roast dinner every Sunday from 12.00 - 15.00.

Our head chef, Steve, has over 15 years’ experience in the restaurant trade and creates a wide range of excellent, freshly prepared dishes every day.

Our menu includes a varied selection of traditional, affordable pub meals to suit all tastes and price ranges, from lamb leg steaks to burgers to freshly prepared salads and seafood. In additional we have a specials board that changes on a daily basis to include locally sourced meats & fish.

Join us for a pint or two of our award-winning selection of cask conditioned real ales, including Ringwood Brewery beers from the heart of the New Forest.

We also boast disabled access from the front door all the way to our secluded riverside garden, so no-one is excluded at Avon Brewery.
